Muse salon is a 100% Fully Vaccinated Salon, and will be open and trading at all Levels of the New Traffic Light Protection Framework. In doing so, to ensure the safety of our team, clients and wider community it is important that you do not enter our salon's if you are feeling unwell or have flu-like symptoms.

When you enter muse salon you will notice a few things have changed. These changes are with your and our teams safety in mind.
Contact Tracing:
All visitors to muse salon must be booked in our system and guests scan the COVID QR code using the COVID contact tracing app. If they cannot use the app then they must register in the contact register. This is a condition of entry and a condition we must fulfill to trade.
Contact registers are required to help stop the spread of COVID-19. Our contact register is confidential, contact tracing information will not be used for any other purpose and the register will be destroyed 2 months after its record date.
Proof of Vaccination:
At RED & AMBER-we will be using the official My Vaccine Pass verification app to scan your My Vaccine Pass. If you do not have this installed you will need to show our salon team proof of your vaccination status which will be securely recorded in your client records. Without this we will not be able to serve you under the RED & AMBER Settings of the Protection Framework.
Distancing:
At RED & AMBER-we will install screens between all stations to provide each client their own personal salon "bubble" as an added precaution to help reassure and protect you while you are in one of our salons.
Hand Sanitiser:
We have hand sanitiser at reception and at all stations, as well as anti-bacterial hand wash in client bathrooms.

We have also installed paper hand towel dispensers in client bathrooms for added hand hygiene.
Stylists wearing PPE: (RED & AMBER)
As hairdressing is a direct contact service, our talented stylists will be wearing gloves and face masks whilst completing your service. Gloves will be change between clients, as will cutting aprons.

Face Masks for Clients: (RED & AMBER) We also recommend that clients wear some kind of face coverings, which can either be a mask or a homemade face covering. This is optional and at your personal choice.

Gloves for Clients: (RED & AMBER) Optional and at your personal choice. Mandatory if client can’t use soap or sanitiser because of skin conditions. Please request gloves if you need to wear these while in salon.
Hand washing:
Our stylist regularly wash and Sanitise their hand-including after each client.
Cleaning and sanitation:
Our salons are cleaned daily and all surfaces sanitised.
Each station is sanitised between clients, as are all scissors, brushes and tools and all commonly touched surfaces (such as door handles, bench tops, eftpos units) are regularly disinfected. Our salons are professionally cleaned outside of salon hours to further enhance our hygiene standards.
Air Filtration:
Each Muse Salon has a HEPA filtration system running to purify the air in salon. HEPA (High-efficiency Particulate Arrestance) is frequently used in hospitals and labs to filter out micron-sized particles, and effectively filters out 99% of PM0.3 particles and 99.99% of PM2.5 particles.
